Exhibitor highlights at the Fuel & Gas Logistics

Digitalisation, automation and environmental protection play an important role at the Fuel & Gas Logistics exhibition

More than 100 exhibitors will be presenting exciting new products and current trends in their exhibition areas at the new double trade fair for the logistics of energy carriers and hazardous substances. Both global market leaders and innovative medium-sized companies are represented with their range of services. The combination of the established GGS trade fair – Hazardous Goods // Hazardous Substances – with the newly conceived Fuel & Gas Logistics has created an ideal platform for finding out about the latest trends in the logistics of hazardous goods and hazardous substances and the field of energy logistics. In addition to personal encounters, the focus will be on exciting products, solutions and services from interesting exhibitors:

From road to rail: The Leipzig-based company CargoBeamer teaches all types of semi-trailers to ride the rails that are not yet suitable for rail transport. At the company’s own terminals, the trailers are loaded onto the train in a fully automated process using specially developed handling technology. A real revolution in times of sustainability efforts and a drastic shortage of lorry drivers.

At Fuel & Gas Logistics 2024, the ELAFLEX group will be presenting products and solutions for the safe and economical handling of conventional and alternative fuels at stand G05/H06 in hall 2. Among other things, proven and innovative solutions await interested trade visitors. These include the ELAFLEX DualSafe with a newly developed, double-walled hose solution with integrated leak detection technology from SGB, hose reels in accordance with specific customer specifications for different refuelling and handling media, components for the safe and fast transport and handling of H2, LH2, CNG, LNG, LPG and conventional fuels and the new DDC 2.0 dry couplings and semi-automatic pneumatic nozzles for LH2 from MannTek.

Wilhelm Hoyer have established themselves as the leading supplier of HVO 100 and now offer this fuel at 32 car depots and refuelling stations in Germany. This means that Hoyer currently have the densest network of HVO stations in Germany. HVO 100 “Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil” is vegetable oil treated with hydrogen, which is used for a second purpose instead of being disposed of and thus offers a number of advantages for the environment. With a greatly improved overall greenhouse gas balance, HVO 100 reduces CO₂ emissions, making it a cleaner choice for almost all diesel engines. Those who are interested can find out more about this and many other topics at stand I08.

Heinze Hebetechnik, a new company founded in 2024, will be presenting a typical 4-wheel gripper system from the manufacturer ATH Heinl, or alternatively from Maxima or Velyen, at stand I21. The most important advantages for the workshop: maximum flexibility, when the wheel grippers are not needed, they can simply be pushed out of the way. They are independent of battery power connections and are brighter, more modern and more ergonomic than the dark, unpopular pits. A vehicle can be lifted in less than 90 seconds, making the underbody of the vehicle completely accessible.

World première at Luxecasting Europe at stand H08: The new DDC couplings are designed to protect operators and the environment during the loading and unloading of liquids. The bidirectional seal design ensures a safe and easy disassembly process and is available in a wide range of materials and sizes. The DDCs are designed in accordance with NATO STANAG 3756 and are therefore compatible with most brands.

DEZIDATA TVE will be presenting another global innovation at stand F18 with its DEZICHEM product – a measuring system specially developed for road tankers and containers. It is used to dispense AdBlue and other chemical liquids and has an MID (Measurement Instruments Directive) calibration approval valid throughout Europe. The DEZICHEM measuring system is designed to provide a high output rate combined with simple operation, making it suitable for both new vehicles and retrofits. With the DEZICHEM 3, which will be presented for the first time at Fuel & Gas Logistics, the company is offering a new version of a mobile measuring system with MID approval.

M+F Technologies specialises in custody transfer flow metering for liquid and gaseous energy carriers and solves all tasks relating to the automation and digitalisation of tank depots, tank terminals and fuel supply systems. At the Fuel & Gas Logistics, the Hamburg-based company will be presenting the powerful MFX_4 data acquisition system at stand I05. It fulfils the highest standards for flexible and reliable custody transfer measurement and now has an extended temperature conversion function in accordance with DIN EN 15940:2023, Annex B, for paraffinic diesel fuels according to method 2. This enables the correct custody transfer metering of dispensed fuels such as HVO100. If required, existing systems can be updated to the latest firmware version 1.1.11 in order to be able to also handle HVO100 with the measuring systems.

The “OPTI4Driver” app from OPTITOOL, also known as Mobile Merchandise Management, is the perfect support for drivers. It enables entry into the digital, paperless future. Receipts between driver and office no longer need to be exchanged manually; everything runs efficiently and directly via the app. Drivers receive all relevant order and route information directly on their mobile devices and can process the orders on the route and even navigate to delivery points. They can print invoices and delivery notes themselves, or send them to customers by email in an environmentally friendly way. Visitors to the trade fair will find all the information they need at stand F14.

With the new ALL-IN-ONE fleet optimisation system from SATLOG, even fleets of 5 trucks or more can optimise their routes electronically without the need for installation or extensive training. A special feature of tankers is that the chambers can hold different types of fuel. Route optimisation must therefore take into account not only the customers’ time slots, but also the loading capacities of the individual chambers depending on the product type. Thanks to the new HREE technology, this is now possible at the touch of a button as an on-demand cloud service and can be experienced at stand F02 at the Fuel & Gas Logistics.

This is just a small selection of the products and services that will be presented at the double trade fair Fuel & Gas Logistics and GGS – Hazardous Goods // Hazardous Substances. You can also look forward to the latest tankers, technologies and developments in the industry as well as a varied and future-oriented specialist programme and extensive networking opportunities.
