After the first time of GGS and Fuel & Gas Logistics as a trade fair duo in October 2024, there will unfortunately be no further edition of the two trade fairs. Leipziger Messe deplores this decision, but the synergies promised by the trade fair duo have not materialised to the extent hoped for.

In addition, the companies from the hazardous goods sector at GGS and the exhibitors at Fuel & Gas Logistics have different preferences concerning the date of realization of a successful trade fair. It was not possible to reconcile the two.

Holding the two highly specialised individual trade fairs separately entails considerable risks for a successful implementation, especially as some exhibitors expect cuts in their marketing budgets in future and thus a concentration on participation in the established leading trade fairs in Germany and abroad.
